FLS level detector
On a level detector, a float with permanent magnet slides on a guide tube following the level of the liquid. In the guide tube of the level detector there is a reed contact (reed contact) which is activated by the magnetic field of the float through the non-magnetic walls of the float and the tube. By using magnet and reed contacts, the system works without contact, without wear and without auxiliary energy. The contacts are potential free. The WIKA level switch is available with several switching points.
Contact occurs when leveling up:
The Reed contact is: either normally closed (S), or normally open (O), or changeover contact (U).
By using a float with a maximum of 2 switching points, a bistable behavior is achieved, i.e. the switching state remains unchanged when the liquid level rises above the switching point.
The level switch is easy to mount, maintenance-free and costs for mounting, commissioning and adjustment are minimal.
