Manometric tube pressure gauge with wireless output signal PGW23
The robust, fully welded Bourdon tube metering system produces needle rotation proportional to pressure. The process pressure is permanently indicated by the needle on the dial. The electronic device converts the rotation of the needle into an electronic signal, which is then transmitted by the radio module and the antenna.
Battery-powered radio transmission via LoRa® ("Long Range") is based on LPWAN ("Low Power Wide Area Network") technology to enable high transmission ranges and long battery life.
The IIoT-compatible pressure gauge type PGW23.100 meets all safety requirements of applicable standards and regulations for the on-site display of the operating pressure of pressure measuring instruments, as well as the requirements of the Radio Equipment Directive for data communication. In particular, the LoRaWAN® network ("Long Range Wide Area Network") enables full end-to-end encryption with two-way communication for secure IIoT applications.
WIKA manufactures and certifies the pressure gauge in accordance with the requirements of the European standard EN 837-1 in the safety version "S3". The safety version is made up of a safety glass sight glass, an unbreakable safety partition and an ejectable rear bottom.
