Thermowell with threaded flange TW10
Each thermowell is an important component of any temperature measuring point.
It is used to separate the process from the surrounding area, thereby protecting the environment and operational personnel and to keep the temperature sensor away from aggressive media, high pressures and flow velocities. It thus allows the change of the sensor during operation.
There are a large number of thermowell variants, depending on the type of execution or the type of material used.
The type of process connection and the manufacturing method are important selection criteria. A selection can be made between threaded, weld-on, and flange-connected thermowells.
In addition, it is possible to differentiate welded thermowells from solid ones. Mechanically welded thermowells are machined from a tube, which is closed at its end by a mechanically welded end. The massive thimbles are machined from a bar.
The thermowells of the TW10 series, solid with flange connection, are suitable for use with many electrical temperature probes and many mechanical thermometers from WIKA.
Thanks to their robust execution, these thermowells in the international version are the best choice for use in the chemical and petrochemical industries and in the construction of technical installations.
