BNA bypass level indicator
The Type BNA bypass level indicator consists of a tube mounted on the side of a container, which by means of 2 connections (flanges, threaded connections or welded ends) is in permanent communication with the container. According to the principle of communicating vessels, the level in the tube always corresponds to the level of the tank. In the tube, a cylindrical float with an integrated permanent magnet follows the level of the liquid and acts, without contact, on a magnetic indicator fixed to the tube. In this indicator are placed every 10 mm red/white plastic or ceramic rollers, with magnetic rods inside.
As the float with its permanent magnet passes near these magnetic rollers, these two-color swivel rollers rotate one after another through 180° on their axis. These are rotated from white color to red color when the level goes up and from red color to white color when the level goes down.
Thus, the bypass level indicator can indicate, without any energy source, the level of a tank by a clearly visible red bar.
