COSEL has expanded its supply of power supplies for the medical sector with the addition of the 1500 W version to its PJMA range. The PJMA1500F has a universal input voltage range of 85 to 264 VAC and complies with international safety standards. Designed for the most demanding medical applications, PJMA power supplies are suitable for Body Floating (BF) applications and comply with 2MOPP (IN/OUT) and 1MOPP (OUT/FG) safety requirements. Based on a robust platform, these power supplies have been optimized to ensure an excellent performance/cost ratio for medical applications that require a quality solution. The PJMA range of power supplies is offered in four output voltages (12, 24, 36 and 48 V DC).
Medical applications require rugged and extremely reliable power supplies that can operate anywhere in the world and comply with safety regulations. Thanks to their expertise resulting from many years' experience, COSEL's power supply designers have developed an optimized platform allowing them to offer an excellent price/performance ratio without compromising quality and reliability. The PJMA range of power supplies can operate in a so-called "universal" range of input voltages between 85 and 264 V AC, with a nominal efficiency of 88% (high line voltage).
Four output voltages are available as standard: 12V/125A; 24V/64A; 36 V/42 A and 48 V/32 A. The output voltage can be adjusted using the integrated potentiometer.
The PJMA range features inrush current limiting circuitry, overcurrent and overvoltage protection, as well as thermal protection. Thanks to their versatility and robustness, these power supplies operate in an environmental temperature range of -20 to +70°C. Depending on the assembly and cooling conditions of the final equipment, power reduction is possible.
Given its medical specialization, the isolation between input and output of the PJMA range conforms to class 2MOPP, between input and ground conforms to class 1MOPP, and between output and ground conforms to the 1MOPP class. Models in the range are certified to ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 and EN60601-1 3rd edition standards.
For conducted emissions testing, the PJMA range complies with FCC-A, VCCI-A, CISPR32-A, EN55011-A and EN55032-A standards.
To meet specific application requirements, a number of options are offered including Conformal Coating (C), Low Leakage Current (G), External Potentiometer Connector (V), Remote Control (R) and Low Fan Speed (F4).
To ensure their robustness and longevity, PJMA power supplies are incorporated in a closed galvanized steel box, with a fan mounted on the rear face. The PJMA1500F model measures 178 x 61 x 268 mm [7.01 x 2.40 x 10.55 inches] (W x H x D) and its weight is 3.5 kg max.
With the addition of the PJMA1500F model, the PJMA range covers, in four models, powers from 300W to 1500W.
The PJMA range benefits from a five-year guarantee and complies with the European RoHS, REACH and Low Voltage directives.
