Thanks to the latest switching power supply technologies, the LHA10F and LHA15F models are 15% less bulky and offer 50% less leakage current than conventional products on the market. Designed for a wide range of applications, the LHA10F and LHA15F power supplies can operate in a wide temperature range from -10 to +70 o C. These power supplies are UL/EN62368-1 certified.
With increased levels of system integration, production automation requires more compact power supplies capable of working at maximum levels of safety in a wide variety of environments. The LHA10F and LHA15F models have been designed to ensure high levels of insulation and very low leakage currents.
Designed for applications developed anywhere in the world, the LHA10F and LHA15F power supplies benefit from an input voltage range of between 85 V AC and 264 V AC single phase and comply with safety standards relating to input voltage ranges from 100 to 240 V AC (50/60 Hz).
The power supplies are available in five output voltages 3.3 V, 5 V, 12 V, 15 V, 24 V, and their respective currents. On both versions, the 3.3V output voltage can be set within a range of 2.85V to 3.63V, with all other voltages factory configured.
The LHA10F and LHA15F power supplies benefit from an optimized chopping topology, developed for the higher power LHA range. They also offer an efficiency of up to 84.5% at 230 V AC and with a nominal load.
The power supplies incorporate inrush current limiting, as well as overcurrent protection with automatic recovery when the fault is cleared, and overvoltage.
The units are designed to operate in a temperature range of -10 to +70 o C. They can be mounted in any orientation, although power derating may apply depending on ambient temperature and environment.
Regarding conducted noise tests, the LHA10F and LHA15F power supplies comply with FCC-B, VCCI-B, CISPR11-B, CISPR32-B, EN55011-B and EN55032-B standards.
The products benefit from an isolation voltage of 3000 V AC between input and output, 2000 V AC between input and ground, and 500 V AC between input and ground. They benefit from low leakage currents: the LHA10F model with 150 microamps max and the LHA15F model 100 microamps max at 240 V AC/60 Hz.
Designed for demanding applications where space is often limited, the LHA10F power supply measures just 50 X 21.5 X 62.5mm (1.97 X 0.85 X 2.46 inches) and weighs 45g max. The LHA15F power supply measures 50 X 21.5 X 73.5 mm (1.97 X 0.85 X 2.89 inches) and weighs 60 g max.
Other options are available for specific applications: -C option for conformal coating with increased moisture resistance, -J4 option for EP inlet and outlet connectors, -S option with chassis, -SN option with chassis and cover, and option Y for an output voltage potentiometer.
The LHA10F and LHA15F models complete Cosel's extensive product line for the most demanding industrial applications that require an efficient power source, with power ranging from 10W to 300W. The power supplies provide an ideal solution for maintenance equipment with the previous COSEL LDA series.
The LHA10F and LHA15F power supplies are suitable for a wide range of applications, including measurement and analysis devices, machine tools and industrial robots, display devices, and semiconductor manufacturing equipment. They comply with the RoHS and Low Voltage directives and benefit from the CE marking and the UKCA mention.
