Ysco, European specialist in private label ice cream, continues its development

In 2023, the Ysco company, based in Argentan (Orne), broke its ice cream production record. Ysco manufactures ice creams and sorbets for private labels (hypermarkets, hard discounters, frozen food stores). Its main clients are: Lidl, Aldi, Picard, E. Leclerc, Carrefour… The “jumbo” (ice cream extruded on a stick, dipped in a bath of chocolate), as it is called in the profession, is the star product that comes out Ysco factories. Produced at 1 million pieces per day, this summer was a real success. A third line for the 3rd generation of this item, which represents 31% of production (ahead of the bins 29%, the cones 28%), should be launched in 2025. Work is planned for 2024. The factory employs 180 people and can go up to 250 with temporary workers.
