For one of our clients, in order to greatly facilitate the maintenance of their machine, we supplied EKH450 type couplings.
And the "H" is of utmost importance.
It means that the coupling is in a half-shell on each hub.
Without having to move the driven sub-assemblies, this coupling can be disassembled with surprising ease. The same applies to reassembly, without requiring any realignment.
This option is available across almost the entire range of couplings and even torque limiters. There are no limitations on the size or type of elastomer insert.
