The pharmaceutical group GSK invests and increases its production capacity

The pharmaceutical group GSK will invest more than 240 million euros in three French industrial sites, including that of Mayenne, specializing in the production of antibiotics, for the period 2023-2025. The British company thus plans to increase its production capacity by “modernizing, decarbonizing and digitizing the existing lines” on three French sites: Mayenne, Saint-Amand-les-Eaux (North) and Evreux in the Eure. A budget of 150 million in Research and Development is also envisaged. Specializing in the production of antibiotics, particularly amoxicillin, the Mayenne site employs 370 people.
