Fashion Cube Denim Center: Mulliez opens a jeans factory in Lille

From the end of 2021, the first jeans will be produced in the Lille metropolitan area, with the aim of reaching an annual production of 410,000 pieces per year from 2024. The construction of this "Denim Center" should start at the end of the year in Neuville-en -Ferrain in the Lille metropolitan area. The northern distributor is acquiring a semi-automated production site for 3.5 million investments with the aim of releasing 410,000 jeans at cruising speed, from 2024. The building will be installed on 2,700 m2 including 400 m2 of offices where the design teams of the different brands will be brought together. A denim expertise center with a “fab lab” will also be created. About 60 jobs will be created initially, and the site will house 105 people in the short term.
