62 - Arc equips itself with a new production line for 15 million Euros

Specialized in tableware, the Arc group, based in Arques (Pas-de-Calais) has just developed a new VL04 machine for an investment of more than 15 million euros. Entirely dedicated to the manufacture of high-end stemmed glasses, it will produce up to 100,000 crystalline stemmed glasses per day. Unlike conventional processes, this 60-ton machine, 11 meters long and 4 meters wide, will weld the foot without interruption, in a single operation. Designed and manufactured by its teams (design offices and machine workshops), this tool will make it possible to increase the production capacity of high-end stemmed glasses by 50% and to achieve the production of 24 million additional parts per year.
