33 - Hermès opens a new leather goods factory near Bordeaux, generating 300 jobs

The luxury group will set up a leather goods factory in Loupes, in the Créonnais. The opening is scheduled for 2026 and should allow the creation of 300 jobs. The bag assembly plant will be the second Hermès leather goods factory in Gironde after the opening in early 2021 of the Saint-Vincent-de-Paul leather goods factory. The two companies will also work together since Hermès announces “that it will constitute with the leather goods of Guyenne, the Girondin pole of Hermès which will become the 8th leather goods pole of the group”.
