29 - In Concarneau, the shipbuilding industry recruits more than 300 people

According to the Interprofession of the Port of Concarneau (IPC), professions in the sea industries are struggling to recruit. The skills deficit, according to a study carried out by the CINav (Campus des Industries Navales) is estimated at 1,000 jobs in Brittany by 2023. In Concarneau alone, the industrialists grouped within the IPC will recruit more 300 people over the next three years, from boilermakers to naval architects. Electrician, pipefitter, welder, boilermaker, design office technician, team leader, business manager... there are many exciting, remunerative, qualified and progressive jobs to be filled and all combine masculine and feminine, for young people and experienced or retraining professionals…
