16 – A new label production line for Lithobru

Lithobru, creator of labels since 1865, is acquiring new tools with the investment in a new printing line for adhesive labels at its Charente site in Merpins. Sixth self-adhesive line in Charente, set up in September and operational at the end of the year, it represents an investment of more than 1.5 million euros. Thanks to it, the company will have the possibility of chaining on the same line, the offset printing of several colors and many finishings (hot foil stamping, embossing, curving, screen printing, screen-printed varnish, etc.). Operations which previously required the use of several lines for complex labels, and increased delays. By reducing production times, this new line should produce 50 million labels per year: an increase of 17% compared to the 300 million labels produced annually at Merpins.
