MVQ detectors communicate via IO-link and report the following diagnostics related to the valve to the PLC:
Foreign body detection preventing valve closure
Dirt detection
Worn seal detection (dimensional wear)
Cycle count (triggering of seal replacement intervention if no dimensional wear)
Compressed air fault e.g. tube crack, compressor fault, etc. via monitoring of opening and closing times
Ambient temperature monitoring
Thanks to these diagnostics, it is possible to optimize maintenance to avoid costly breakdowns or to lengthen the periods for systematic replacement of seals.
In addition, configurable warning lights allow simple color coding for operators based on valve status.
