PMDLine distance detectors time of flight IO-link OGD583

The PMDLine light time-of-flight distance detectors are characterized by their small dimensions, large range, reliable background suppression, visible red laser light spot and large reserve capacity.
These detectors are resistant to stray light and can be used in production workshops where daylight falls on the detector or the object. Reflective objects such as metal surfaces are also reliably detected, reflective strips on safety jackets are correctly ignored. Distance finders can reliably detect distances even if the beam does not hit the object surface vertically. This allows flexible mounting positions, simplifies assembly and reduces costs. The background suppression is precise and it is also possible to reliably detect shiny, matte, dark or light objects.
These distance sensors are designed for positioning, speed regulation or level measurement. They can be used to protect stand-alone industrial transport systems against collisions or to enable elevator positioning operations in high-bay warehouses.
These detectors provide a second piece of information called reflectivity, which makes it possible to differentiate colors or assess fouling.
These 2 distance and reflectivity values can be used locally via the display and the buttons or by the API if they are uploaded via IO-link.
Several versions are available from 300 mm to 10 meters range.
