New P-KUBE Smart safety handle
The P-KUBE family of security handles has grown even further with the introduction of a new device which, in combination with the ST series RFID security sensors, makes it possible to create a modern and efficient door locking system. for all machine guards without inertia: the P-KUBE Smart handle.
The new handle includes an RFID tag that can be detected by ST family sensors as if it were a normal actuator. The RFID tag is located inside the handle in a block that can be rotated in three directions so that it can always be aimed correctly at the ST sensor.
The handle is therefore suitable for all installations, with the possibility of being used on hinged or sliding doors, with right or left opening and horizontal or vertical handle mounting.
Reminiscent of the already well-known and appreciated handle for its modern and ergonomic design P-KUBE Krome, the latest addition to the P-KUBE series presents the same handle with a front band available in satin chrome or white finish with lighting, and the possibility integrate a command button to interact with the machine.
Designed with the same grip dimensions and hole spacing as the interior plates, the P-KUBE Smart series can be used as an interior handle in guards that use the P-KUBE Krome security handle on the exterior for RFID switches with locking of NS and NG series.
Assembly is practical and quick, since the plates of the two handles can be fixed through only two through holes in the movable guard and two screws of suitable length. The assembly thus obtained forms a system with uniform lines and aesthetic continuity between the interior and exterior handles.
The RGB LED technology that characterizes the illuminated handle allows local signaling of the status of the guard by means of different colors and totally customizable sequences, with visibility at great distances even in bright environments.
We will opt for the version with direct fixing on the handle by means of the two internal threaded inserts for applications on light or compact protectors. For heavier guards, it is possible to fix the handle by means of an internal auxiliary plate in painted steel and 5 mm thick to guarantee sturdiness and long life.
The clip-on protection caps, provided to close the fixing screw holes, offer an optimal aesthetic result of the product, as well as security against any manipulation of the device, and prevent the accumulation of sediment in the holes.
The electrical connections are made by means of a cable that exits from the back of the device and can therefore be easily housed inside the frame of the protector, making it completely invisible. This feature has a double advantage: it contributes to the aesthetics of the machine and ensures the protection of the cable against possible damage and manipulation. The P-KUBE Smart handle is available with PVC cable connections or with cable and integrated male M12 connector.
The new P-KUBE Smart handle is also available in versions without RFID tag, so it can be used as a simple guard opening handle, regardless of the type of safety switch used to lock the door. .
