Polyester guardrail

JK Technic resin guardrails provide user protection while offering high chemical and thermal resistance.

In order to ensure the protection of users, JK Technic offers railing profiles made of resin. Guardrails are mainly used to protect industrial walkways and are equipped with a handrail, one or more intermediate rails and vertical posts.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS APPLICABLE TO GUARDRAILS

A guardrail should be installed near dangerous areas where there is a risk of sinking or tripping through.
For example, an access walkway to an extractor on a roof. A guardrail must be installed as soon as the possible fall height is greater than 500 mm.
A guardrail must be provided when the space between a platform and the machine structure or wall is greater than 200 mm or if the protection of the structure is not equivalent to a guardrail.
However, a plinth must be installed if the space separating the platform from the adjacent structure is greater than 30 mm. The minimum height of the guardrail must be 1100 mm.
