ER FIBC II - Active grounding system for type C container

Cenelec recommendation CLC/TR: 50404 states that ""Conductive fabric and conductive wires (including handles) must have a ground point resistance of less than 1 x 108 Ohms"", in order to avoid spark discharge. Type C FIBC must be properly earthed during filling or emptying operations."" (§7.2.6.8.3) The "ER FIBC II" system continuously monitors the earthing and proper dissipation of electrostatic charges of type C FIBCs Two checks are carried out: - Continuous verification of the connection of the “ER FIBC II” to the site earth - Continuous verification of the “FIBC – Clamp – Reference earth” loop This loop must be less than 1 x 108 Ohms.
