Extremely strong high performance ceramic cimblot
The cimblots- and support heads must be very durable and above all extremely solid. This is why norelem now also offers these standardized elements in an extremely resistant high-performance ceramic version. They have a significantly longer life than bolts made of conventional materials.
The cimblots and support heads are hard, because they are made of an innovative material, Cerazur® ceramic. Cerazur® ceramic is a metal-ceramic alloy, which makes it extremely resistant to shocks and very rigid. It is based on zirconium dioxide: this inorganic material is pressed in powder form, then milled during machining before firing and finally sintered. During the final machining, the parts are then ground to give them the exact standardized dimensions.

Reduced wear, high wear resistance, thermal stability and neutral frequency: these are the strengths of the new high performance ceramic cimblots and bearing heads. These are particularly interesting for machine and plant construction – the ceramic material is becoming more and more popular in this sector.
