Metal bellows coupling tightened by HC screws

Description

Clamping the hub by means of a screw is an economical alternative to metal bellows couplings equipped with a radial clamping hub (23000). Thanks to the screw clamping means, assembly times are significantly reduced and assembly is simplified even in a location that is difficult to access. The required tightening torque of the screw must be observed. We recommend equipping the shafts with a flat end in order to facilitate dismantling.

Technical details

Material: Aluminum hub, stainless steel bellows. Finish: Natural. Mounting: To connect the shaft to the coupling bore, choose an adjustment between 0.01 and 0.04 mm. Example: Shaft Ø 5 k6 Bore Ø 5 G7. Diameters smaller than D min. are achievable, however the rated torque is no longer guaranteed. Assembly and disassembly must be very careful to avoid degradation of the bellows which would damage the coupling.
