VCI Abrigo® Cardboard

Key Features: Abrigo® cardboard is a corrosion-resistant cardboard, surface-treated with a solution of volatile corrosion inhibitors. It is active on both sides. Available in several qualities and formats.

VCI ratio/ Surface to be protected: 1 m2 can protect up to 10 m2 of metal surface. The dosage varies depending on several factors (such as packaging design, logistics processes, part pretreatment, etc.). Therefore, prior technical consultation may be necessary.

Formation of the protective layer: At 20°C, approximately 1 hour for a hermetically sealed 1m3 package. The closer the product is to the VCI source, the shorter the time for the formation of the protective layer.
