Perigol® VCI 230
Description
Perigol® VCI 230 is a VCI protective oil designed to protect metal surfaces by direct and remote contact.
It is used to protect metal surfaces that are not in direct contact with oil. To ensure effective corrosion protection, parts must be conditioned in an enclosed space so that the volatile corrosion inhibitors saturate the atmosphere. The product can be applied by immersion, spraying or brushing on dry, clean and non-corroded surfaces.
It forms a thin oily film on parts, which can be removed with an aqueous alkaline product after storage. The VCI molecules absorbed on metal surfaces disperse within 1 to 2 hours after opening the packaging. It is compatible with Zerust® and Gardac® VCI solutions.
