The new intelligent and patented active ingredient ICB® adapts to the humidity level in the air and therefore to the risk of corrosion.
From 55% relative humidity, the risk of corrosion increases. The diffusion of active ingredients, integrated into the polymer matrix of the film, increases proportionally to the humidity level which promotes corrosion. Conversely, it decreases when exposure to humidity decreases again.
This adaptation to the needs improves the anti-corrosion effectiveness of the protective film. As the active ingredient has a controlled diffusion, a larger reserve of corrosion inhibitor is available to deposit on the surface of the metals during phases of high corrosion risks.
Once they arrive at their destination, the parts can be directly unpacked and used without additional preparation steps. The protective layer formed on the surface of the metal disappears in less than an hour without leaving any residue.
