Roquette opens new markets for the starch potato sector

Roquette, a leader in plant-based ingredients, has inaugurated a new production line for bio-based fertilizers based on potato starch at its Vecquemont site (Somme). Operational since the end of 2024, this line produces several thousand tons per year of filtered soluble fertilizers sold under the SOLULYS® brand. Rich in assimilable nutrients, these products are intended for fertilization and biostimulants. This industrial development is part of a dynamic of innovation serving sustainable agriculture and benefits 700 partner farmers in five departments of Hauts-de-France.
