WAGO CAN gateway terminal

Terminal 750-658 is an interface for connecting a WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM programmable controller or coupler to a CAN network. It is compatible with CAN specifications 2.0A (11-bit identifier) and 2.0B (29-bit identifier). There are 3 operating modes, to meet different applications: Sniffer mode: passive equipment on the bus, for example to carry out network analyses; Mapped mode: active device with transmission/reception of telegrams, the data of which can be accessed directly in the image table of the coupler or the controller; Transparent mode: active equipment, able to send and receive all kinds of telegrams, via function blocks. The terminal allows level 2 CAN frames to be sent, but it is also possible to communicate on application protocols such as CANopen or J1939. Terminal 750-658 can be used in industrial applications for which sensors, actuators or equipment communicating on CAN or CANopen protocol must be interfaced.
