The CIFEC AM analyzer

The CIFEC AM analyzer with amperometric probe with separating membrane continuously measures the level of oxidants in water. Positioned upstream or downstream of the treatment point, it constantly monitors the injection and the possible control of the treatment by analyzing the quality of the water.

The amperometric probe measures an electric current proportional to the quantity of strong oxidants in the water. Unlike old technologies, the probe is not in direct contact with water but is actually in an electrolyte and a membrane separates the electrolyte from the water to be analyzed. This technology guarantees reliable and precise continuous measurement of the rate of chlorine or other oxidants in the water.

The analyzer includes an electronic box and a hydraulic measurement chamber with a measurement probe of your choice. The probe is positioned to avoid the accumulation of air bubbles likely to disturb the measurement.

In addition to the advantages already mentioned, the CIFEC AM analyzer:

• Allows the installation of 5 types of sensor to choose from: free chlorine, total chlorine, active chlorine, chlorine dioxide, stabilized chlorine
• Incorporates a dummy and a water flow adjustment valve with optional lack of water sensor
• does not include any moving parts
• does not require the use of a chemical reagent
• incorporates a degassing chamber to prevent the accumulation of air bubbles
• allows the display of a graph of the chlorine level on the screen
• can be controlled remotely via RS485
