Softex elastic couplings, from HBE
Softex elastic couplings are torsionally flexible and maintenance-free. They mount axially and reduce vibration. Fully machined, Softex elastic couplings have excellent dynamic behavior and very little inertial effect. The flexors (toothed rings) in elastomer are available in different hardnesses. The bore can be cylindrical (metric / inch), tapered or splined according to DIN or SAE standards. In addition, the hubs can be made of different materials: aluminium, gray cast iron (EN-GJL-250), spheroidal graphite cast iron (EN-GJS-400-15), sintered steel and steel depending on the sizes. To select the size of the coupling according to the machines to be driven, HBE offers a free online application, P+Calculator, which allows you to find the right references in a few clicks. A large part of Softex elastic couplings are available from stock at very competitive prices.
Driving rotating machines such as pumps, compressors, electric motors, heat engines, centrifugal clutches etc. in an infinite number of fields: hydraulic power stations, public works and agricultural machinery, land vehicles, ships and boats, dosing machines, conveyors, etc.
