Sealing solution - BS ring
The high-pressure sealing solution, the BS ring is a metal ring with a rectangular section inside which a rubber ring with a trapezoidal section is bonded and vulcanized. A thin membrane ensures the central positioning of the BS ring.
Different specific rubbers and compounds are available.
The BS ring has been developed to achieve simultaneous resistance to pressure and vibration under severe temperature conditions, while ensuring the integrity of the assembly for which sealing is required.
The self-centering ring allows:
- to avoid any risk of incorrect positioning of the ring
- to facilitate the implementation
- reduce assembly time
- to avoid the loss of the ring during dismantling
- to avoid the realization of a counterbore and the appearance of machining costs.
