PSENopt II light curtain - second generation
The second generation of light curtains, the PSENopt II, allow safe intervention in the manufacturing process and satisfy, depending on the application, the protection of fingers, hands and body. The first type 3 safety light curtains are specially designed for applications up to PL d according to EN/IEC 61496-1. On the other hand, type 4 light curtains are suitable for applications up to PL e according to EN/IEC 61496-1/-2. Thanks to their high robustness, PSENopt II sensors offer protection against shocks, collisions and vibrations and are therefore suitable for use in harsh industrial environments. The user can analyze the main causes of machine downtime and system faults using LEDs. Downtimes are thus reduced.
