PROTRAN flush diaphragm pressure transmitters, from ESI
The Series PR3800, PR3820, PR3850 and PR3860 range of flush diaphragm pressure transmitters have been designed to meet the requirements of most industrial applications requiring a cleanable hygienic diaphragm or a separate sealing barrier. Manufactured in robust stainless steel, this range of pressure transmitters uses the latest cell technology combined with a dedicated integrated circuit amplifier offering excellent stability and accuracy over a very long life. The standard output signal is 4 – 20 mA, and a 0 – 5 V or 0 – 10 V output is available as an option. A few typical applications: food processing, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, waste water and sludge treatment. In these environments, the fluid being measured tends to corrode the measurement diaphragm or clog the narrow orifice of a conventional transmitter. The flush membrane is easily cleanable, ensuring reliability and extraordinary long-term performance. For hygienic applications, the PR3800 series offers various sanitary fittings. The barriers are available in several shapes and materials, and can be directly connected to the fitting concerned or indirectly using a stainless steel capillary. For food, pharmaceutical or petrochemical applications, the PR3860 is suitable for fluid temperatures up to 250°C. The pressure ranges are from 0...200 mbar to 0...400 bar. An ATEX and IECEx version is available as an option for this product, for areas with explosive atmospheres of gas (zone 0), dust (zone 20) and mines (group I M1).
