Plastic machining parts
Plastic is a material that is relatively easy to work with, machining is carried out on high-speed multi-axis machining centers, the parts are therefore produced quickly with very good tolerance tolerances.
Unlike plastic injection, machining does not require a draft angle and does not involve post-production shrinkage, so there is less risk of deformation.
It is preferable to deburr the plastic parts after machining in order to have a better cosmetic rendering of the plastic machining and to avoid the risk of cutting during their use.
Any threads can be made directly in the material without going through inserts.

WHY MAKE PLASTIC PARTS BY MACHINING?
-Simple machining (cutting / drilling / bending) from plates, sheets or profiles.
-Specific shapes difficult to obtain by injection (several thicknesses of materials on the same part).
For the manufacture of small quantities of plastic parts, machining makes it possible to avoid the opening of an expensive injection mold , and the time lost in adjusting the injection parameters.
Plastic machining can also replace metal machining in order to allow weight savings, to allow better insulation or of course to reduce costs.
