Oil level indicators with electrical fill level monitoring are equipped with a floating element with a magnet. If this reaches the defined minimum value after the circuit is closed, an electrical signal is emitted. The sensor can be adjusted in height according to the control requirements.

For oil level indicators with electrical temperature control, when the set temperature is reached, the circuit is either closed (NO) or open (NC) by the sensor, depending on the model. Temperature control is carried out using a temperature switch (bimetallic).

The oil level indicators are fixed using two M12 threads or two holes with a diameter of 12.2 mm with collar nuts. The oil level indicators are available in a short version with a fixing hole center distance of 127 mm and in a long version with a center distance of 300, 400 or 500 mm. The display elements of the short model consist of a fiberglass reinforced plastic housing, while the long models have an aluminum housing. Both versions are fitted with a plastic sight glass with good mechanical resistance and resistance to mineral oils, petrol, lubricants, petroleum, solvents and most chemical agents.
