FOCUS NOVEMBER 2023 - THE FOOT PROTECTOR
GUITEL HERVIEU offers foot protectors in two ways:
- assembly by us on new casters during the same order
> To do this, consult the sales department who will assist you in choosing your roulette: the reference will be followed by “-PP”.
- in the form of kits to be bolted onto castors in operation.
> The kit includes: assembly screws, externally toothed washers and the bolt passing through the caster hub.
The foot guard is screwed onto the caster using the wheel and mount assembly bolt. The height between the ground and the foot protector is 20 mm * , which does not allow the passage of a safety shoe. When using the trolleys, foot safety is thus maintained despite possible dangerous actions (inattention, speed, slope, etc.).
The GUITEL HERVIEU foot protectors are made up of two parts in folded steel, 3 mm thick, protected by red paint, with an oblong hole, assembled by 2 screws. Externally toothed washers placed between the cheeks of the frame and the foot guard prevent rotation of the latter. This design has the advantage of precise adjustment and adaptation to the width of many casters.
The GUITEL HERVIEU range of foot protectors makes it possible to equip a large part of the families of handling casters: standard casters in pressed steel as well as heavy-duty mechanically welded casters with single, wide or twin wheels; from Ø 125 mm to Ø 400 mm.
