FOCUS JULY 2023 - THE CASTOR FOR ISO CONTAINER CORNER
This system allows ISO cargo containers to be moved quickly and easily without relying on traditional handling means.
Twin caster in heavy-gauge mechanically welded steel, painted black. Pivoting ensured by a thrust ball and tapered roller bearing.
Double cast iron wheels painted black, polyurethane tires, hub with two ball bearings and central spacer. On the swivel version, 4-position directional lock (to ensure straight line movement).
The minimum diameter is 250 mm and the maximum is 300 mm.
The static load is between 3,500 kg and 5,000 kg.
The dynamic load is between 2,800 kg and 4,000 kg.
The operating temperature is between -20° and +80°.
These casters attach using a Twistlock for ISO corner. Locking or unlocking by pivoting 90° of the Twistlock to be activated by a lever.
