Locking nut for threaded axle

Description

-Permits permanent locking of a threaded axle. The contact face is perfectly orthogonal with the axis of the threads. -The thread is stressed by the protection device which exerts intense pressure on the flanks. At the same time, this allows a loosening of the flat surface of the adjusting nut and an easy compensation of the high tightening torque during assembly. Please note that this nut can be deformed in the axial direction and must be used with care.

An adjusting nut makes it possible, for example, to define the precise position of a screw, provided that the adjusting nut remains in place during one rotation of the screw. The desired position can be fixed by means of two round nuts or two lock nuts screwed together. They are elastically connected to each other and can be turned only by means of a pin driven into a suitable hole.
