In all places where many people gather, germs and other pathogens proliferate. A multitude of bacteria and viruses, some of which are dangerous, are transmitted by touching contact surfaces, especially the handles. In health institutions, the risk is particularly great. In gastronomy and other catering sectors, very strict hygiene standards apply.

CleanSwitch makes it possible to open doors without contact, in a hygienic way by making a gesture in the detection zone, adjustable from 10 to 50 centimeters. The spread of germs is thus prevented. Elegant and equipped with LED lighting, CleanSwitch easily integrates into its environment. The activation switch is operational in minutes and can be fitted to commercially available recessed sockets. The front side is particularly resistant and can be cleaned with the surface disinfectants usually used in hospitals.

Hygiene

CleanSwitch has been developed to meet the needs of buildings subject to strict hygiene criteria, such as health establishments, sanitary areas or in catering.

A special gesture must be made for CleanSwitch to activate contactless access, otherwise the door will remain closed.

It is thus possible to limit the spread of germs.

In addition, CleanSwitch can be cleaned with all common surface disinfectants and other cleaning agents.

Ease of integration

Its harmonized design allows the functional unit of the CleanSwitch to fit perfectly into the cover frame of the switch system. Thus, CleanSwitch enables coherent spatial planning and offers modern architecture a new, striking design object.

The detector module is particularly quick and easy to install, as device settings can be made without tools.

The clear and attractive design of CleanSwitch can be adapted in various ways to the wishes of the customer. A few seconds are enough to modify the color, brightness and visual feedback, without tools.

In addition, Bircher offers a wide choice of pictograms that can be affixed to the front face of the device and intended to facilitate its use. Individual pictograms and logos are available on request.
