To determine the surface tension, you can measure the angle of the liquid deposited on the support and apply Young's equation... Or, quite simply, use TANTEC 's DYNE TEST markers .

Measuring the surface tension (or wettability ) of a substrate has never been easier with DYNE TEST felt pens. Simply apply the ink to the support , or it forms a continuous film for at least 3 seconds, this means that the surface tension is lower than the value of the ink indicated on the felt. If the ink, on the contrary, retracts, it is because the surface tension of the support is at the value of the DYNE TEST felt pen.

DYNE TEST felts are available from 2 mN/m to 2 mN/m from 30 to 58 mN/m.
