The AL-ARM revolutionizes manual laser welding:

With this welding laser, the monitoring of the welding process does not take place as usual via a binocular, but via 2D visualization. This is possible thanks to 2D laser protection goggles with which the user can simultaneously perceive the welding task and its surroundings. The weld area appears magnified and operation-relevant data such as the crosshairs are directly integrated into the image.

This laser system does not have a resonator, but a handpiece with an automatic wire feed for thicknesses up to 0.6 mm. Wire feeding is automatic. The novelty is that the system can now be used with the ALPHA LASER AL-DV wire feeder. This allows thread to be fed continuously from the thread spool. The handpiece weighs just 1.5 kg and is connected to the power unit by a 3.5 m long energy chain (9 m optional).

It is easy to handle and extremely flexible in use. The width of the weld bead can be gradually adjusted during the welding operation.

We have placed particular emphasis on laser safety: the integrated workpiece detection allows the welding operation only if the handpiece is placed on the workpiece. Uncontrolled direct laser radiation is thus avoided. The TÜV-approved safety concept for meeting high safety requirements with performance level "d".
