The AC motor D16 is a quality electric motor, equipped with an integrated Spiroplan® gearbox. The right-angle gearbox is available with six fixed ratios for different belt speeds. In combination with an optional frequency converter, the conveyor speed is precisely adjustable. The unit consisting of an asynchronous machine and a permanently installed bevel gearbox facilitates assembly. In addition, the aluminum housing is very light, quiet and durable. The D16 AC motor has a high efficiency IE3 according to DIN EN 60034:30-2009. The drive unit is connected to the conveyor on the right or left. The engine mounting kit 8 40 D16 is used for assembly. A few manipulations are enough to modify the position and the orientation. A safety shutter closes the unused side of the hollow motor shaft to ensure safe operation.
