Sedis, created in 1946 at the instigation of Peugeot, is the merger of century-old companies. Its ambition: to manufacture the most efficient chains, which it has achieved throughout its ten decades.

The company produces all types of chains (transmission chains, adapted chains, lifting chains, agricultural chains, standard handling chains or according to plan) as well as wheels and sprockets, and dedicates its forces to all types of industries. For every conveyor in the world, the chain is a key element of safety and efficiency. Everything must work perfectly to guarantee optimal productivity. This is why in industrial sectors as varied as the cement works, the iron and steel industry, the brick and tile works, public works and many others, SEDIS uses all its energy to manufacture chains of very high reliability, with the guarantee of a French manufacturing certified ISO9001 since 1989 and a long technical expertise assuring you a constant and uncompromising quality.

Driven by a desire for permanent innovation, SEDIS has succeeded in the past in the bet of the industrialization of chromization which has made it possible, under our DELTA® brand, to improve the wear resistance of chains, and to meet thus to the constraints of the most severe applications. The treatment has continued to evolve to adapt to large-diameter axles and achieve mechanical characteristics that are still unequaled today.

These strengths are now carried by 2 factories in France, 2 subsidiaries in Europe and more than 100 distributors throughout the world.
