PC-based control technology

Since its foundation in 1980, Beckhoff has continuously developed innovative PC-based solutions and products, forming the foundations of its continued success. We are at the origin of many innovations in automation that have now become standards in the market. The PC-based control command, the Lightbus system and the TwinCAT automation software are the innovations that define the Beckhoff philosophy but also alternative solutions to traditional control command. EtherCAT , the real-time Ethernet solution, provides the power needed for new generations of future-oriented machine design.

Beckhoff France

The creation of Beckhoff Automation Sarl

Beckhoff products and technologies arrived in France in 1999, following Rombaut KETA's research into automation and axis control solutions based on PC and fieldbus. He created Beckhoff Automation Sarl on December 19, 2004, for an official start on February 1, 2005 in Villebon-sur-Yvette (91) and still manages it today.

Continuous development in France

Beckhoff products and technologies are enjoying continuous penetration in France, both with machine manufacturers and integrators and with end users. The architecture of the solutions, the hardware abstraction of the software runtimes, the power of the EtherCAT fieldbus allow the construction of open, flexible and modular solutions in the fields of pharma-cosmetics, packaging, machine tools, energy, 3D printing, robotics and many other industrial fields.
