Founded in 1946 in Japan by Isamu Amada, the Group now has some 90 companies, commercial subsidiaries and production sites, and employs more than 8,000 people worldwide.
AMADA offers a full range of solutions for sheet metal working and, to meet the constantly changing needs of the market and its customers, the group has set up a network of production sites in strategic areas: Japan, Europe, North America and China.

Present for more than 40 years in Europe, the AMADA Group combines tradition, Japanese experience and the best of European know-how. A commitment that the Group implemented by creating the European central functions in 2013.

The centralization of European functions has enabled the creation of a focal point for the Group's European strategies, consolidating the synergies of the subsidiaries and providing targeted and innovative solutions to our customers. All activities combined, AMADA operates in Europe with 10 subsidiaries in 13 countries and 8 production sites, employing 1,500 people serving approximately 30,000 customers.
