SPIE continues its commitment to industrial decarbonization at the strategic GSK site in Évreux

Spie Building Solutions and Spie Industrie will set up a new production unit at the GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Évreux factory. Indeed, the group was responsible for installing a new production line dedicated to new generation aerosol inhalers with a low carbon footprint. Created in 1968, GSK's Evreux site, which has nearly 1,100 employees, specializes in the production of inhaled medicines intended to treat asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Work began in July 2023 and should be completed during the first half of 2024. “This project alongside GSK reflects our ability to respond to the complex challenges of the industry, while shaping a future where the industry combines performance and environmental responsibility” explains Christophe Dormois, director of business development and strategy at SPIE Industrie.
