Payote wants to create its espadrilles factory and hire 100 people

Based in Perpignan, the Payote company has already attracted several thousand customers. But seven years after its creation, the brand wants to do even more. It intends to rely on a brand new factory installed in Perpignan which should be operational by the end of 2024. Indeed, each year, the founder of Payote receives around three million orders worldwide. United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, South Korea, but in its current configuration, the Mauléon workshop in Pyrénées-Atlantiques can only produce 80,000 pairs, a solution had to be found to increase its production capacity . This new production and innovation site (Payote innovates on the materials used, as evidenced by its creations with grape marc or plastic bottles thrown into the sea) will therefore see the light of day in Perpignan. This factory should be able to generate more than 100 jobs in production, logistics and marketing and will allow the manufacture of one million pairs per year.
