Luxury leather goods manufacturer SIS sets up in Épinal to create 300 jobs

The luxury leather goods manufacturer SIS recently announced the opening of a new factory near Épinal, in the Vosges. This factory, established in Chantraine in April, will create several dozen jobs in the short term and plans to generate several hundred in the years to come. In fact, the group is considering the construction of a new factory in the Voivre area, where around 300 people should be employed. Jean-Yves Chauvy, general director of SIS, specifies: “We need 9,000 square meters and we plan to hire forty people per year”. La Manufacture du Cœur des Vosges (MCV), a subsidiary of the SIS group, specializes in the development and manufacturing of leather goods, sheathing and watch straps, collaborating with French and foreign luxury companies, notably Swiss watchmakers.
