Launch of the new phase of the Industrial Territories program

Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne announced at the National Council for Industry the launch of the new phase of Territories of Industry. This program aims to support the territories in their industrial reconquest strategy.

Among the announcements, the opening of a labeling platform for industrial territories over the period 2023-2027 and increased support for projects.

Reindustrialization is a sovereignty issue. Efforts initiated in terms of industrial recovery since 2018 have made it possible to support 2,400 industrial projects throughout the territory by mobilizing more than 2 billion euros with more than 44,000 jobs being created.

This label recognizes and promotes territories with a strong industrial identity. The second phase of the Territories of Industry program aims to update the map of the 149 territories already labeled.

Territories of industry benefits from financial support of 100 million euros in 2023 to achieve the objectives of the program: support productive industrial investments, identify and finance projects that create jobs in the very short term in the most affected territories by deindustrialization, etc.
