No measurement errors More than just object detection: the TiM5xx 2D laser scanner is the measurement solution of the TiM series from SICK. HDDM technology (HDDM = High Definition Distance Measurement) guarantees extensive monitoring indoors and outdoors, even in bright stray light and on any surface. The TiM5xx provides accurate measurements of the scanned area in a compact and robust package, which allows additional information, such as the size and shape of objects, to be determined. Thus, the TiM5xx can be used flexibly in many industrial applications and in building automation. The integrated Ethernet interface simplifies implementation and remote maintenance. The TiM5xx is an effective solution for stationary use, on driverless vehicles and in other mobile applications.
