OIL FOR GEARBOXES - RENOLIN PG
RENOLIN® PG are fully synthetic EP industrial gear oils based on special and selected polyglycols (PAG).
RENOLIN® PG are synthetic lubricants based on newly developed polyglycols. They offer temperature and oxidation stability. They have a good viscosity/temperature behavior which allows them to be used from -35°C to over 160°C.
Special additives adapted to these polyglycols enhance the good properties of the base oils: protection against wear, against corrosion in the presence of condensation water, low foaming, very good compatibility with non-ferrous metals.
The excellent anti-wear properties have been proven in various tests. The standard FZG test (FZG A/8.3/90) passes load 14 and the FZG A/16.6/140 test (high speed, high temperature) passes load 12.
RENOLIN® PG have good resistance to micropitting - "high" load resistance stage - and good resistance to pitting. They have been tested in a special "low speed" test of the FZG test (according to DMGK- FZG wear test) which they passed (wear category: "low" = excellent.)
This special test shows the excellent wear protection of RENOLIN® PG at two different temperatures (90°C & 120°C) under mixed and boundary lubrication conditions.
