The P30 STG PV electronic is a very powerful machine for drilling up to 30 mm in diameter in unalloyed mild steel and belongs to the Classic range. The machine has automatic and continuous Z-axis feed. The optional transparent cover is a real eye-catcher. The drive is provided by a maintenance-free three-phase motor. The speed can be continuously adjusted using the adjustment lever on the side. Depending on the customer's needs, the machine is available with two speed ranges and special optional equipment such as chip breaker module, spindle stop module and sequential feed. You can choose between three machining modes: conventional drilling, with automatic feed and tapping. For each of them, you can adjust the associated parameters separately according to the type of operation. The drilling depth stop allows you to set and limit the drilling depth. To do this, position the tool on the surface of the workpiece, set the zero point, select the drilling depth by lowering the lever then fix the depth stop. A wheel then allows you to precisely adjust the drilling depth. The robustly designed table can be adjusted in height simply and precisely using a rack drive. In order to be able to guarantee optimum working safety, the drill is fitted with an electrically locked drill guard and a standard emergency stop button.
